Safeer-e-Amn: Youth Capacity Building Workshop on Peacebuilding & Interfaith
Thirty-five youth leaders from diverse social, religious and professional backgrounds met in Sukkur to learn peacebuilding and conflict resolution.
On 8 February 2026, CYDE held a Youth Capacity Building Workshop on Peacebuilding & Interfaith at RT Hotel One, Sukkur, under the Safeer-e-Amn initiative of The Peace Project: Local Action, Lasting Peace.
Religious intolerance, polarisation and misinformation have increasingly limited opportunities for meaningful dialogue in Sukkur and surrounding districts. The workshop gave thirty-five youth leaders a structured, inclusive space for reflection, discussion and experiential learning.
The day combined interactive dialogue, creative expression and scenario-based exercises, with energisers, collaborative brainstorming and group work. Sessions were facilitated by Ali Aqsam, Mir Hassan and a team of trainers and youth development professionals.
